Windows System Administrator

For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.  


Client Solution Architects (CSA) is seeking a full-time Windows System Administrator to support the Center for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Diving's (CEODD) IT Systems, located near Eglin Air Force Base, in Niceville, Florida.


How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
  • Provides Windows System administration including patching, scanning and application of STIGs for local assets
  • Sets up administrator and user accounts
  • Maintains system documentation
  • Installs system wide software
  • Performs networking maintenance
  • Tunes system performance
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery
  • Addresses, escalates and/or tracks local technical issues through remediation in  accordance with established best practices
  • Maintains inventory of desktops and laptop computers, monitors, printers, and other IT related equipment. Applies technical expertise in collaboration with other team members to develop requirements
  • Utilizes ServiceNow for tracking incidents, work request, and logging Level of Effort (LoE)
  • Applies logical alterations to Active Directory users and computers
  • Updates and maintains curriculum on android tablets 
  • JKO MGMT add and remove user accounts 
  • Training support marquee graphics and editing 
  • Setup and troubleshoot PA system 
  • Hardens network via Group Policy and OS modifications
  • Analyses ACAS scanner logs and reports
  • Configures Samsung Knox and tablet OS  
  • Provides generalized administrative support
  • Provides WLAN systems support
  • Perform AFNET client-level information technology support function
  • Manages support, installation, and lifecycle control for Plain Old Telephone Systems (POTS) and Voice over IP (VoIP)
  • Manage AFNET hardware and software
  • Install and configure AFNET software operating systems and applications
  • Provide AFNET service to end-users for operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems
  • Provides basic guidance and support for video tele-conference (VTC)


What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
  • Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance
  • Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Years of Experience: 6  years of relevant experience
  • General Experience: Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration  
  • Certifications: IAT Level II certification (CCNA Security, SA, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP) OR qualifying bachelor's degree
  • Qualified training or certification in the relevant Operating System/Computing Environment (OS/CE) within six months of date of hire or Navy Cyber Work Force (CWF) designation letter
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration
  • Exposure to basic networking protocols

  • College Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline, and experience with one or more of the following: 
  • Mobile device management
  • Stand-alone network environments
  • MS Excel
  • Token management
  • Secure Host Baseline management
