Your role and responsibilities

As a Salesforce Architect at Flowdesk your main mission will be to ensure the technical excellence, security, and scalability of our Salesforce platform while supporting its alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the Salesforce Product Manager, you will oversee platform administration, enforce Salesforce Well-Architected best practices, and enhance our development capabilities with advanced solutions. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening our Salesforce platform to drive Flowdesk's next stage of growth.

Platform Administration and Security

  • Manage platform configuration, user access, and system maintenance to ensure a secure and compliant Salesforce environment.
  • Enforce Salesforce Security Best Practices, including access control, data encryption, and auditing.
  • Conduct regular platform reviews to identify and address risks, optimize performance, and ensure system resilience.

Best Practice Implementation

  • Apply Salesforce Well-Architected Best Practices to guide the Salesforce team’s development and configuration processes.
  • Establish standards for scalability, data integrity, and governance across all Salesforce initiatives.
  • Drive technical training and mentorship to embed best practices within the Salesforce team.

Technical Development and Solution Building

  • Develop advanced solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce to address complex business needs.
  • Expand the platform’s capabilities beyond declarative tools with custom development and integrations.
  • Participate in strategic projects as a Salesforce technical builder, delivering robust and innovative solutions.

Collaboration and Strategy Support

  • Work closely with the Salesforce Product Manager to align platform enhancements with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, future-proof solutions.
  • Provide technical insights to support the strategic direction and evolution of the Salesforce ecosystem.

Background and experience

  • At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Architect, Engineer, or Technical Administrator.
  • Previous experience working in finance environments (crypto or blockchain experience) is a strong plus.
  • FinTech, or with a Salesforce consulting/integration firm, having delivered multiple projects specifically in the finance sector.
  • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-growth environments with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and advanced workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce Security Best Practices and Salesforce Well-Architected Best Practices, including governance, scalability, and platform resilience.
  • Hands-on experience with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs) and middleware solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer II are highly desirable.
