Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology & Business Systems. An integral part of the ALMAG Aluminum Information Technology Department the Infrastructure Support Analyst is responsible for analyzing and implementing technical solutions to support the integration and standardization of Information Technology systems and IT infrastructure. They will provide expertise in resolving complex technical issues related to IT/OT convergence and work closely with other teams to ensure the secure convergence of IT/OT systems. This individual be an enabler in continual process improvement to further optimize IT infrastructure within ALMAG.

Education/Experience
· Previous experience with configuring access points, switches, and routers preferred
Technical Skills/Competence
· Solid knowledge of IT Systems and applications, including Microsoft SQL server, and information security systems.

Joining ALMAG Aluminum as an Infrastructure Support Analyst means becoming a vital part of our Information Technology Department, where your technical expertise will shine. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Manager of Information Technology & Business Systems, delving into the analysis and implementation of technical solutions that bolster the integration and standardization of our IT systems and infrastructure. You’ll be on the front lines of resolving complex technical challenges related to IT and Operational Technology (OT) convergence. By collaborating closely with various teams, you’ll help ensure the secure integration of these systems while being an enabler for continuous process improvements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing IT infrastructure projects, handling network security events, and providing Tier III technical support. You'll have the opportunity to develop automated scripts, optimize system procedures, and engage with cutting-edge technologies like Azure, VMware, and disaster recovery tools. Additionally, you will be a go-to person for diagnosing IT infrastructure issues and a mentor for your fellow team members. With a minimum of five years' experience in supporting server infrastructures and a strong understanding of networking protocols, this role will challenge you in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
