We are looking for a talented attorney to support our rapidly growing and evolving Devices business.Key job responsibilitiesYou will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for a broad range of matters, including subscriptions compliance, product support, marketing, and privacy. You will work directly with the business, providing day-to-day input on business and strategy, and serving as counsel on strategic issues. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.Basic Qualifications• 5+ years of legal experience• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalentPreferred Qualifications• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work• Ability to demonstrate great judgment even in ambiguous situations• Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams• Ability to build rapport with and earn trust of business partners• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines• Strong written and oral communication skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market.
