DescriptionThe Amazon Security Threat Intelligence (ACTI) organization is excited to be searching for a Senior Intelligence Analyst who is an industry expert in collective sensitive data and creating a narrative to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams to ensure the business is driving positively towards its goals.The Amazon Security Threat Intelligence (ACTI) organization is responsible for investigating and understanding threat actors that are targeting Amazon’s businesses.Threat Intelligence (TI) protects Amazon and its subsidiaries by proactively analyzing new security threats, identifying malicious actors, and researching the evolving threat landscape. We partner with teams throughout Amazon to facilitate information sharing and increase security resilience through cross-functional collaboration. We share actionable cyber threat information and focus on continually developing collaboration and partnerships with security & intelligence teams throughout Amazon and the security industry. TI drives and enhances our ability to emulate threat actors, respond to security incidents, and to stay one step ahead of our adversaries.The Customer Enablement Team, part of Amazon Cyber Threat Intelligence (ACTI), is responsible the Customer Experience, Products and Dissemination, Data Governance and Policy as well as the overall ACTI Program quality and management of ACTI projects. CET reports on the business through a variety of mechanisms to ensure that we maintain a high bar.Key job responsibilities• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of potential threats to Amazon, AWS, its subsidiaries and customers.• Evaluate threats: Collect, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources and assess this information to identify security threats and develop strategies to counter them.• Preparing reports: Prepare written strategic reports and presentations based on your research, collection, and analysis of intelligence data. Create intelligence assessments that are free of bias.• Work with a cross-functional team: you will work effectively with a cross-functional team and under tight deadlines.• Briefings: Prepare and present oral and written reports on the conclusions and recommendations drawn from data/ information.• Lead and participate in collaborative working groups and other initiatives in support of ypour assigned portfolio.About The TeamAbout Amazon SecurityDiverse Experiences — Amazon Security values diverse experiences. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience• 5 Years of relevant analytic experience or experience working in sector specific intelligence• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.• Experience with open-source intelligence.• Experience working in collaborative environments, while demonstrating strong verbal communication and presentation skills.• Experience producing written documentation, to include, but not limited to products, procedures, and instruction.Preferred Qualifications• Master's Degree in a relevant field to include homeland security, intelligence, etc.• Completion of FBI or other IC element advanced analytic writing and reviewing courses (e.g. Advanced Writing, Reviewing Analytic Products).• Experience drafting intelligence products following analytic tradecraft standards and style guides.• Experience with project planning, coordination, and executionAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
