DescriptionDo you want to lead DEI/IXT strategies for a dynamic organization within North America Operations?We are seeking an experienced DEI practitioner to partner with multiple senior business leaders, Human Resources business teams and other centers of excellence (Talent Leadership & Development, Early Talent, etc.) to develop and implement IXT strategy. You will help create and maintain a workplace that is equitable and inclusive for employees of all backgrounds. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement and measure several core & common IXT initiatives. You will develop strategies, initiatives, and have accountability for their success. These include critical mechanisms to drive equity within the business and support leader education and engagement opportunities and communication.This role will require deep and consistent engagement across teams and strong skills in strategy development, inclusion diversity and equity, data analysis, collaboration, and communication.Key job responsibilitiesAdvises NA Ops LT team on related DEI topics.Sets DEI goals and priorities in collaboration with NA Ops leadership teams.Works closely with NA Ops PXT teams to assess the overall DEI/IXT org performance through goals tracking.Coordinates local DEI/IXT Working Groups/Councils/Champions/Ambassadors to support delivery of IXT action plans.Leads NA Ops global IXT programs with the support of DEI/Inclusion Ambassadors, Affinity Groups and DEI/IXT Working Groups.Identifies areas of opportunity through data analysis and partners with teams including PXT, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to develop and deliver appropriate paths to green.Attends NA Ops LT Talent MBRs, Weekly Business Reviews and Q1/Q3 Talent Reviews ensuring DEI input is incorporated wherever appropriate.Upskills NA Ops global PXT teams to run DEI data reports analyze key TEI and help with action planning.Acts as the voice of NA Ops within the wider IXT organization to ensure local needs and complexities are communicated to central teams.Highlights external DEI trends to ensure that the business is kept up to date to consider actions accordingly.About the team• Our team works on business impacting problems with some of the best and brightest minds in the world.• We affect positive change for the largest portion of Amazon’s employee population (over a million!) #ChangeMakers• We have a fast paced, high performing, yet collaborative team culture• We allow you to be human… we fail fast to win big!!Basic Qualifications7+ years HR (DEI) business partner experienceStrong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications• 10+ years HR (DEI) expeience• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.• Global/Cross-cultural experience.• Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
