Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.
American Express is on a multi-year journey to enhance our focus on Privacy compliance as well as Customer data handling and transparency. As part of this journey, EDGP is establishing the Global Privacy Center of Excellence. The Director, Control Framework will sit within the newly formed Privacy Center of Excellence to define and execute privacy activity control implementation by defining standards of care for privacy activities across the enterprise for all processes and technologies. This role will coordinate across business units and markets to set control guidelines and identify opportunities for improvement in relation to privacy risk.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
