How will you make an impact in this role?

Works closely with Operations and Engineering Teams to identify feature sets that impact private and public cloud platforms to ensure availability and reduce toil

Performs hands-on architecture, design and development of monitoring systems to provide continuous support for ongoing infrastructure and application availability

Understands current incidents and provides solutions to detect, recover, and prevent re-occurrence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience

1+ years of industry experience with 1+ years of software development experience in Python

Technical knowledge of VMware vSphere installation, Configuration and Administration of ESXi 7.x, 8.x.

Experience in 2 or more of the following technologies:

    • Fast API
    • Swagger
    • API’s
    • PHP
    • Java and JavaScript
    • Django
    • Kickstart
    • Chef
    • Puppet

• Understanding of Linux functionalities / features as well as good experience of shell scripting
• Knowledge of Jira and other Agile tools.
• Knowledge in Assessing/implementing best practices in line with change management process
• Experience in clouds platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure is beneficial
• Good understanding of Container & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Experience in automation tools such as Ansible, Bash shell scripting
• Experience in one of the following databases SQL, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Ability to work with Infrastructures and Platforms including IaaS, PaaS, Cloud technologies and tools for Continuous Delivery (CD)
• Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Will require in office 3 days/week. 

Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $135,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
