**Overview:**Join AIR as a Python Programmer with our Health team and contribute to a better, more equitable world by applying your experience, knowledge, and education to deliver rigorous research and evaluation, technical assistance, and leading-edge data science and technology tools. **Responsibilities:**• Apply quantitative methods and techniques to manage and analyze research data• Construct, clean, and document large datasets for both internal and project-related use• Conduct literature reviews of technical and professional publications• Create customized and presentation-quality reports from data analysis results• Participate in the design of research studies• Manage administrative aspects of projects• Support the preparation of technical procedures and reports• Write, compile, and edit assigned portions of proposals and project reports• Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content• *Qualifications:**Education, Knowledge, and Experience:• Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related quantitative analytics field with a minimum of 2 years quantitative research experience in health policy or a related field, OR Masters degree in quantitative analytics field, health policy, public policy, or public health• Knowledge of data analysis and data management techniques• Python programming• Experience with statistical packages like SAS is preferred but not required• Experience analyzing Medicare, Medicaid, or other commercial claims data preferred but not required• Proposal and report preparation experience is preferred but not required• *Benefits:**This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $80,000-95,000 and is part of AIR's Total Rewards Program, designed to reward staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission
