About the Team

The Analytics Center of Excellence uses data to create and deliver best in class insight and awareness for the organization and global partners. This team is responsible for building data standards and practices, creating new tools, and implementing analytic solutions that are innovative and scalable.

About the Role

This role will support the Enterprise organization by uncovering strategic insights in our data, packaging recommendations into compelling presentations, and building internal tools and dashboards to grow and empower the organization. You will report into the Manager, Ads & Promos on our Analytics Center of Excellence team in our Enterprise organization. You will work closely with the non-restaurant sales and account management team as well as with business analysts on other business verticals for the Enterprise org. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Use SQL to explore DoorDash and merchant data and uncover strategic insights and recommendations
  • Conduct analysis and share data-driven insights in succinct presentations with data visualizations to showcase the results of past initiatives, diagnose issues in merchant performance, and propose the value of new endeavors.
  • Design, build and evolve automated reporting and dashboards that drive strategic decisions making across the Enterprise organization
  • Develop and standardize analytic methodologies and operational metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
  • Ensure data integrity by understanding and identifying opportunities to improve the back end data structure

  • You have 1-2 years experience in data analytics with a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and you are passionate about telling the story behind the numbers.
  • You are well skilled in SQL, and able to build advanced queries and fetch the data necessary to answer any business question.
  • You are able to craft your data insights into presentations that are relatable, succinct, sophisticated, and impactful.
  • You are a self-motivated, rapid learner, excited about developing your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are curious and an owner, always looking for opportunities to learn and better your work product.
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, the base salary range in Colorado for this position is $78,030 - $105,570, plus opportunities for equity and commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
