What you’ll be doing:- Corporate: Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to entity formation, entity maintenance, and corporate governance, and specifically:
- Prepare legal entity filings, and assist in corporate entity governance and maintenance; and
- Manage aspects of equity governance, including with respect to the company’s ESOP program and the maintenance of equity records.
- Compliance: Act as the main point of contact for all matters related to the company’s compliance matters, and specifically:
- Monitor and report on the latest legal trends and other regulatory developments and assist in providing updates to relevant policies or processes.
- Commercial: Act as the main point of contact for all matters relating to commercial agreements.
- Procurement: Act as a point of contact for all matters relating to procurement, and specifically:
- Draft, negotiate and advise on a wide variety of vendor agreements, including agreements related to SaaS platforms, consultants, partnerships, marketing, and workplace matters; and
- Maintain and update, as necessary, the company’s vendor-related templates.
- Legal Operations: Lead and streamline the strategic technologies and operational functions of the legal team, and specifically:
- Improve the operations, systems, and ongoing innovation of the legal team;
- Oversee functionality of technology tools and software used by the legal team; and
- Assist in establishing KPIs and leveraging data in connection with the performance of the legal team.
- General: Assist the CLO with various legal matters and perform other tasks as assigned from time to time
What we look for in you:- JD degree, and a minimum of 4+ years experience practicing transactional or corporate law.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize time and business needs in the face of competing demands.
- Experience managing time-sensitive and complex contract processes and administration.
- Strong project management skills, including adhering to stakeholder timelines.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven written and oral communicator, with strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills to act as an effective change agent.
- Organized self-starter with demonstrated experience in adapting and executing in a fast-paced environment.
