This team is responsible for increasing portfolio growth and long-term customer value for the Samsung Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Smartwatch, and Buds categories. This position will lead the Lifecyle Marketing Team and partner with the Product Marketing team.The Lifecyle Marketing Director will own the strategy to drive customer acquisition and retention. This position will leverage performance analytics and learnings to create an effective holistic journey throughout direct to consumer touchpoints, including Email, Push Notifications, and marketing-driven ecommerce traffic and conversion. This includes product launches, sustain, key seasonal/gifting moments, and always on engagement. This candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams across creative services, functional marketing team members, eCommerce, Data Science and multiple agency partners. This person thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience in segmentation, audience management, analytics, creative development, and agency management.Role And ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and Duties:• Shape the overall Marketing strategy and own lifecycle marketing strategy• Develop strategy to support a cohesive CEJ (Consumer Experience Journey) inclusive of audience segments/personas, purchase lead cycles, ecosystem communication (products & services) and• key launches, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing consumer touchpoints• Own overall marketing traffic to Samsung.com across all marketing channels, including weekly traffic and conversion targets.• Support Samsung.com CEJ development to ensure cohesion across CRM and dot-com touchpoints (Marketing Landing Page, PDP)• Manage agency partners, including timelines, deliverables and budget to ensure flawless campaign execution.• Manage team to create campaign specific messaging strategy (images, messaging and comparative specifications) that map to each consumer segment and ensure clear value propositions• Manage team to define the target audience for individual campaigns designed to drive traffic to Samsung.com. Align with our Big Data, Data Science and agency teams to develop audience target lists, expand current audience reach, and ensure optimum usage of internal database and external list sources.• Collaborate with Data Science and agency teams to design reporting that supports evaluation of program performance. Analyze performance and results and optimize campaigns based upon test and learn strategy.• Manage daily operations with agency partner(s) coordinating creative development, list selection, and execution of each campaign.• Prepare and present Lifecycle Marketing strategy and plans in executive presentations.• Participate in CRM Governance Council for planning and coordination across SEA lines of business. Ensure compliance with all guidelines and provide briefs and evaluation for Council review.• Coordinate with global CRM counterpartsSkills And QualificationsBackground/Experience Required:• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred• 12+ years of Lifecyle Marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role• Experience in managing campaigns from brief writing to execution of deployments, to reporting• Independent worker with excellent organizational and project management skills• Must demonstrate effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)• Must have a professional demeanor and demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with Senior Leadership• Ability to coordinate processes and work cross-functionally across a large organization• Must possess excellent time management skills - Manage workload and agenda independently, while staying in alignment with the priorities of the business unit• Previous experience working with large scale first party data is preferred• *This position is not scoped for individuals seeking sponsorship to work in the US.
