Role: Financial Business AnalystClient: Large financial clientDuration: 24mo contractLocation: Hybrid 3x a week onsite in Chicago, ILSummary:For this Business Analyst role, the right candidate is required to work with a team, embedded with the Treasury Technology organization designing and build front-to-back trading system and supporting sub-systems. Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with users and testers to ensure requirements and test plans serve customer needRequired Skills:• 4-8 years of Capital Markets experience delivering solutions for:o Interest Rate Derivativeso Foreign Exchange Derivativeso Futureso Bonds and Securitieso Secured and Unsecured Money Market Instrumentso Loans• Experience building solutions for the Front Office, Middle Office or Operations groups• Experience as a working member of an agile software development team• Experience working with teams in geographically diverse locations• Knowledge on balance sheet and income statements• Strong communication skills, written and verbal• Candidate would be comfortable working in an environment with Python, SQL• CFA or in the process of getting one• Technical experience working with dev teams – but can also work well and understand the business side
