About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Art Director to join our Marcom team at Apple. As an integral member of our creative team, you will be responsible for designing and directing identities for our products, events, and future consumer experiences.Your focus will be on art directing motion design, guiding the development of innovative and compelling creative solutions. You will contribute to all projects from initial blue sky ideation through final delivery of production.Key Responsibilities:• Crafting engaging campaigns that align with creative briefings, while collaborating with partners and mentoring junior creatives.• Providing direction, oversight, and leadership to project teams, responding swiftly to new information, and pivoting strategically when needed.• Conveying a strong point of view on design solutions through innovative thinking.• Driving workflows across multiple team members including Human Interface Design, Interactive Design, Brand, and Production teams.• Collaborating closely with vendors by providing art direction, guidance, and feedback.• Possessing an eye for aesthetic and creating a powerful story through the work.Requirements:• 6+ years experience building brand identities and campaigns, with motion design at the core of your skillset.• A portfolio exhibiting a thorough grasp of design principles, animation principles, motion theory, typography, and visual communication.• Experience with the following design/animation software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), After Effects, Cinema 4D (or equivalent 3D tool).Compensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.You'll also receive benefits including comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and reimbursement for certain educational expenses related to advancing your career at Apple.
