They collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to determine project priorities and verify requirements, jointly run workshops or collaborative design sessions, translate business requirements into user stories to guide the development process, create and test mockups and prototypes, validating design choices based on research and functional requirements, collaborate with UX architects to design wireframes and mockups.Overall, throughout project lifecycles, they are responsible for maintaining robust communications and project alignment between product and engineering to drive to the right outcomes in a timely manner. A Senior UX Designer supports a continuous improvement mindset, proactively staying abreast of industry and platform trends and innovation, and integrating knowledge and learning by recommending new processes, tools, approaches, and systems.We are seeking candidates who embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in a workplace where everyone feels valued and inspired.What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)Begin championing opportunities for UX research to support and evolve product development.Present UX research and design approaches and accompanying findings to the business inclusive of senior leadership.Contribute to the vision and strategy of interaction design principles across the enterprise, collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to determine project priorities and verify requirements.Utilize and contribute to the Design Language System (DLS) to ensure consistent and cohesive design across products and platforms.Create and test mockups and prototypes, validating design choices based on research and functional requirements.Suggest features/components to guide product development.Exercise sound judgement and is proactive in raising concerns where work activities and objectives may be compromised by a lack of team alignment/collaboration, communication breakdowns, quality issues, etc.Collaborate with UX Architects to design wireframes and mockups from user flow diagrams and data to visualize intuitive user journeys.Simplify complex systems and large volumes of data/content into easily understandable prototypes and recommendations.Collaborate fluidly with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.Translate business requirements into user stories to guide the development process.Support a continuous improvement mindset, proactively staying abreast of industry and platform trends and innovation, and integrating knowledge and learning by recommending new processes, tools, approaches, and systems.Educate cross-functional stakeholders on best practices and industry standards related to user experience design.Mentors more junior UX Designers.Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
