By coordinating the complexities of each unique care journey, Porter helps close the gaps with the largest impact on quality measures, total cost of care, risk adjustment, and member experience.


About the Position:

As a Front-End Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing user interface components using modern web technologies. Your expertise in Node.js, React, CSS frameworks (including Bootstrap), and collaboration with UX designers will be crucial in delivering high-quality web and mobile experiences.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team and UX designers to discuss user interface ideas and application requirements.
  • Translate design concepts into responsive user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows (such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack).
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in JavaScript.
  • Debug application code and troubleshoot interface software.
  • Develop and maintain front-end architectures that support user interfaces.
  • Monitor and improve front-end performance.
  • Implement A/B testing models to optimize user experiences.
  • Utilize behavior-based tracking to measure and evolve member experiences.
  • Document application changes and contribute to updates.


What's a successful candidate look like?
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
  • Proficiency in React.js, Webpack, Redux, and Flux.
  • Experience with user interface design.
  • Familiarity with performance testing frameworks such as Mocha and Jest.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Requirements:
  • Ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for sponsorship
