What will you be doing?
As our sales team and the business continue to grow, we are looking for ambitious and self-motivated sales professionals to join our collaborative and successful team. In this role you will work autonomously and design your own success strategy with uncapped potential. You will need a high level of emotional intelligence and business acumen to match. Through its price assessments, market research, news and analysis Argus media illuminates the market and enables organisations of all sizes to make critical and well-informed decisions, be it from the day-to-day trading on the shop floor right through to the strategic investment decisions in the board room.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys consultative based selling and earning a competitive compensation package. The role itself is within the European sales team as a hybrid account management and new business role, you will be responsible for selling Argus market data, price assessments and reports to the European regions. You will develop the growth strategy across the territory and managing the renewals process for existing customers, applying a consultative and methodical approach to sales and account management. The role includes travelling to destinations in Germany and Austria where you will meet and engage with your client base.
We are looking for entrepreneurial traits, where the successful candidate owns their book of business and is responsible for developing growth strategies to hit target. The right candidate will be able to develop their account management skills, selling technique and market knowledge in this role, as Argus has an ecosystem that encourages development and growth. There is plenty of support along the way, where collaboration and teamwork are essential to high achievement. The key to success in this role will be developing an understanding of the client's business to tailor a package to support their commercial decisions and investment strategies.
