Perks include the potential to wipe out student loan debt!Position starts of hybrid and transitions to full remote after 90 days!Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager is a key leader within the Accounting Team, responsible for managing daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets management, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination. This role ensures adherence to accounting principles and internal controls while actively seeking opportunities for process automation.Responsibilities include:• Collaborating closely with another accountant on trust and corporate accounting duties.• Leading the team in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting activities.• Driving automation initiatives in accounting processes.• Partnering with the Financial Data Analytics Team on financial statement preparation, operational reporting, and budget variance analysis.• Managing annual tax reporting and compliance with state regulations.• Monitoring financial and operational data to produce actionable insights.• Maintaining relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and vendors.• Supporting corporate strategic planning and execution.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).• 3-5+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role.• Experience in financial data analytics is a plus.Work Environment & Benefits:• This position is hybrid for the first 90 days, and will turn remote based on performance.• Enjoy a flexible work schedule with every other Friday off, allowing for a better work-life balance.• Above market and comprehensive benefits packagePerks include the potential to wipe out student loan debt!Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
