Audit Manager (CPA Required)Location: Charlotte, NCAre you an experienced audit professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a skilled Audit Manager to oversee and manage audit engagements for clients across various industries. In this role, you will lead audit teams, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and deliver top-notch audit services.Key Responsibilities:• Manage Audit Engagements: Lead and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously, ensuring timely, on-budget completion while adhering to auditing standards.• Supervise Audit Teams: Oversee audit staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. Review workpapers, financial statements, and other audit deliverables.• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for clients during audits. Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing needs and offering value-added solutions.• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure audit activities comply with laws, regulations, and professional standards such as GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB.• Risk Management: Identify and assess audit risks, implement procedures to mitigate risks, and provide recommendations to enhance clients' internal controls and financial reporting.• Staff Development: Mentor and develop junior audit staff through training, performance evaluations, and growth opportunities.• Technical Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technical accounting issues. Provide expertise and support to clients and staff.• Business Development: Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and expanding client relationships.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
