Assistant Vice President, Strategy & Data Analytics

Our team is looking for a sharp Analyst who will support the Strategy and Data Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into the finance space. The position is responsible for preparing data-driven insights to assist with strategic planning and enhance profitability.

• Co-ordinate strategic planning initiatives
• Advance data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making and enhance profitability
• Initiate competitor benchmarking to identify future revenue growth and operational efficiency opportunities
• Develop high-quality analytics, financial analysis, and modeling
• Produce insightful and actionable recommendations for the Executive leadership team
• Direct the development of Power BI business intelligence dashboards and key performance indicators, to monitor progress on strategic goals
• Conduct return on investment and cost-benefit analyses, to assist in prioritizing development project budgets
• Manage continuous improvement projects to increase operational efficiency
• Manage several concurrent projects and work effectively as part of a team or individually
• Keep abreast of industry trends, news, and events
• Perform other duties as required and assigned

Experience and Skills:

• BA/BS in Business or Economics with an emphasis in accounting/finance preferred
• 5 + Year of Financial Services experience
• Demonstrates strong analytical and financial skills
• Proven self-starter that can work with urgency in a dynamic environment
• Intellectually curious
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
• Detail-oriented
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with Business Intelligence dashboards and data visualizations, particularly Power BI, is a plus
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $110,000-$140,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance.
