Associate Applications Engineer

Application Engineer assists in the identification, development, validation, and launch of new products and applications. This role will work with internal partner such as Product Management, Research & Development, Sales, and Marketing. This role will assist in delivering Additive Manufacturing Applications.

What you will be doing:

• Works directly with customers to understand application requirements and needs to deliver technology solutions (Voice of Customers VOC)
• Supports application development from ideation through technical feasibility, validation, and documentation.
• Contributes to the development of intellectual property including trade secrets, patents and invention disclosures

• Create, evaluate, and implement new concepts, improve products and process that will impact the company’s revenue and competitive position in the market
• Contributes to the development of intellectual property including trade secrets, patents and invention disclosures
• Participates in regular communication with cross-functional engineering teams, materials development, manufacturing, customer support, purchasing, marketing, and sales to maintain an understanding of project requirements and specifications
• Assists other engineers with development of new applications, alpha testing, beta programs or any other related product development initiatives
• Supporting Product Life Cycle Management

Must have for this role:

• 2+ years engineering experience
• 1+ years’ experience with product support

Nice to have:

• Previous experience using 3D printers or utilizing 3D modeling
