Associate Producer - Contract

Rooster Teeth has an exciting new opportunity for a part time Associate Producer creating content for Achievement Hunter, Rooster Teeth and work with other brands such as FaceJam, F**kface, ANMA and more!

We are looking to fill this position with someone experienced in creating single-camera & multi-camera content in a studio or run-and-gun environment. Your main responsibility is executing productions and ensuring that they go out properly on all of Rooster Teeth’s platforms.

An ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a creative, fast-paced environment, focused on interpreting the creative direction of the brand. This includes: edits based on notes from producers and directors, completing multiple weekly projects, and understanding comedic timing. Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with creatives behind brands and production teams to execute productions.
• Schedule productions, Cast Members, and Crew. 
• Able to think on their feet and pivot when creative or other scheduling issues arise. 
• Work directly with your showrunner to support their production, which may include: gathering props, making purchases, assembling items, altering run of shows, or acquiring video or audio elements for segments. 
• Gather, track, and upload metadata, thumbnail, and other assigned duties to make key production and delivery decisions that impact budget and schedule.
• Track your budget and spend on projects. 
• Record and Deliver weekly mid-roll ads and hit Marketing beats.
• The ability to adapt quickly and be flexible with recordings and last-minute changes. Be able to see problems before they arise.
• Support marketing, outreach, and promotional efforts for productions: including but not limited to marking & sharing selects for social content creation, posting announcements to social accounts, etc. 
• Maintain a positive team environment.
• Maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radio-Television-Film or equivalent professional experience
• 1 - 3 Years working in a professional entertainment environment 
• Has experience editing in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
• Must have an understanding of video file formats, video analysis and metadata
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills including specific editing workflows
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & accept feedback/notes on work
• Desire to further improve skills and techniques to grow as a producer. 
• Able to lift and store equipment of up to 50lbs
• Strong will and self-motivation to take on projects and complete tasks on time
• Has a strong understanding of New Media and today’s top trends and platforms. 
• Love of pop culture (comics, movies, anime, games) is a big plus
