Accounting Assistant

This is a part-time role that is 15-20 hours a week.Description:• Accounts payable invoice entry (200/month; check runs 2X per month) - Manual Entry• Miscellaneous payables entry• Check timesheets for submittal and approval; timesheet reminders• Project and Client setup• Cash receipt entry and deposit (remote and occasionally to physical bank)• Agreement filing and scanning• Miscellaneous filing, shredding, etc - Also Miscellaneous work such as Reimbursing In-House Expenses, Helping with Timesheets/Job Codes, etc.Skills:Accounts payable, payable, check processing, timesheets, filing copying, scanning, bank deposit, Microsoft excel, accounting software, MS office suite, invoicing, Banking, Accounting, Data entry, Administrative support, Microsoft office, Administration, accounts receivable, accounts payable/receivable, ReconciliationAdditional Skills & Qualifications:• Highly organized and detailed-oriented t• Experience with accounting software• Well-versed with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)• Strong verbal/written communication skills• Experience with navigating an internal network• Occasional travel to branch offices is required• Relevant experience in a professional engineering and preferably technical setting or similar role is a plusAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
