Your Role

As a certified payroll administrator, you will directly assist the senior certified payroll specialist, payroll supervisor, and be responsible for verifying all payroll report submissions are per federal/State requirements. 


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Prepare, review, and submit weekly certified payroll and reports; upload Certified Payroll reports for DIR and Non-DIR jobs through LCP Tracker and other labor compliance software as applicable (i.e., Prism Compliance Management, etc.).
  • Review internal and subcontractors’ certified payroll reports for compliance (including verification of prevailing wages, craft classifications, fringe benefits, etc.).
  • Perform periodic audits of certified payroll and related information; collect, review, and analyze records and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, etc.; and process adjustments and corrections, as necessary.  
  • Monitor incoming correspondence and queries from multiple sources; identify urgent issues and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve matters successfully. 
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for all projects (including DAS-140, DAS-142, Exemption Letter, DAS-7, Fringe Benefit Statement, Statement of Non-Performance, Statement of Compliance, and Skilled and Trained Workforce).
  • Perform other duties as needed/assigned.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 1-2 years of proven experience as a certified payroll administrator, labor compliance administrator, or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work on-site; this is not a remote position.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States, full-time (Monday-Friday) with overtime as necessary.
  • High school diploma (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Experience using LCP Tracker
  • Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to discreetly handle sensitive, confidential, and time-sensitive duties while maintaining a solid customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, with the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
  • Excellent numerical and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
  • Experience with payroll software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 


NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT NECESSARY
  • Associate’s degree or higher (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • Experience working with Viewpoint Vista software.
  • Previous work in the construction industry.

$25 - $32 an hour
The reasonable compensation range for this position includes a new hire base hourly rate of $25.00 - $32.00 per hour + comprehensive benefits + potential for a discretionary profit-sharing bonus.

Individual pay within this compensation range may span multiple levels within the role and is determined by assessing job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  It also factors in market demands and business needs.  The disclosed range may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
