The threat analytics platform team member will help to across several key functions of the threat platforms including system architecture, platform design, project coordination, software delivery, data collection and storage, automation and AI.Key Roles and Responsibilities:• Analysis of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help improve AT&T's security threat analytics platforms.• Analyzes customer requirements to prioritize data sources and engineer transport methods to collect critical data sets• Develops policies and procedures to standardize and automate data collection, processing and analysis.• Collaborates with a team to perform complex security collection and storage tasks.• Performs troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks to help find efficient solutions to hardware and software issues.• Uses security domain knowledge to understand appropriate rules and algorithms to apply to data sets, learning new techniques and patterns as they arise.• Leverages knowledge of automation and AI to maximize efficiency of threat platform activities• Helps to deliver on strategic commitments through project management and coordination activities• Uses system engineering principles to document and modernize process flows and integration across multiple system componentsQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security preferred.• 3-8 years of related experience• Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) at one of the listed locations. No relocation assistance is provided.• Agile software life cycle, open-source analytics tools, security domain knowledge, automation and AI, Databricks, Splunk, Linux, Amazon Web Services, Azure, Python, Java, CI/CD tools, Regular Expressions, SIEM tools, excellent communication skillsJob Contribution:Senior level technical expertise. Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT technologies.Education:Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security preferred.Experience:Typically requires 5-8 years experience.
