About the Team & Role

At Auger, we’re looking for passionate Software Development Engineers who are eager to design and develop innovative solutions at-scale. Key Responsibilities

Building Awesome Features 
- Design and develop software components that power Auger’s cutting-edge supply chain solutions. 
- Work on real-time data pipelines, APIs, or AI-powered tools to deliver innovative features for our customers.

Tackling Real-World Problems 
- Solve complex technical challenges in scalability, performance, and data integration.

Qualifications 

We want team members who are ready and willing to take on a variety of challenges and bring an abiding curiosity about the “what’s” and “why’s” of the data and technology. You’ll thrive if you’re a resilient, driven, and confident, developer who brings the determination to tackle one of the most complex and consequential challenges in the world. Specific qualifications we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with expertise in Python, Java, or C++. 

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. 

• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems. 

• Prior experience building scalable SaaS platforms or enterprise applications. 

• Ability to work in-person from our Bellevue Headquarters  

• Ability to work on-call rotations 

• Ability to work collaboratively through ambiguity, with urgency, patience, and good humor 

Bonus Points & Other Considerations

• Knowledge of supply chain systems or logistics is a plus. 

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and techniques (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). 

• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) or real-time data streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink). 

• Experience tinkering with side projects, open-source contributions, or anything that shows you love to build and learn.
