Automotive Body Shop Technician

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Body Shop Technician located at Napleton Wyoming Valley Collision Center. The Body Repair/Refinish Technician performs vehicle repairs and refinishing as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards. The Body Repair/Refinish Technician ensures repairs are completed in a reasonable time frame and delivers top-notch work to delight our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to perform collision repair/refinish and small spot repair/refinish of customer owned and dealer owned cars
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units
• Maintain work area appearance and safety

Job Requirements:

• Body Shop Technician experience (3-5 years)- required
• Prior painting experience is preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent- required
• Specialized training and experience in the use of water-based paints preferred
• Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) required
