Job DescriptionUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED#LI-NP1This position is for a contract Government Property Management Specialist II. Work will be performed on-site for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Sensors Directorate, located on Wright Patterson AFB. The candidate shall manage Government equipment and perform asset control activities such as reporting, and self-assessments to ensure continual accountability and compliance with applicable Federal Acquisition (FAR), Department of Defense (DOD), Air Force, and Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) regulations. This includes the maintenance of records and issuance of required contractual and regulatory reports. Additionally, the candidate may perform other related activities such as Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) and lab management.The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution.What You'll Do:• Be responsible for managing, tracking, and handling lab equipment along with other related hardware for multiple Government laboratories.• Maintain required logs, records, files, and ensure updates to proper electronic portals.• Assist with procurement of new equipment and hardware. Participate with writing new policies and procedures along with reviewing and modify existing ones as appropriate. Apply principles of system life cycle management.• Maintain compliance with PMEL, cataloging, and calibration requirements. Develop and enforce tool control and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Procedures as required.• Schedule monthly and annual inspections. Ensure compliance with appropriate AFRL, Air Force, and DoD, regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.• Perform various physical tasks from sitting, lifting equipment, bending, stretching, and moving items from one location to another. May perform other related duties as required by Government or company.• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.• Perform other duties as necessary.On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.Working Conditions:• Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.Required Education, Experience, & Skills• BS/BA plus 2 or more years related experience.• Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.• A current, active Secret security clearance is required.• Experienced in Asset/Property Administration, or Logistics Management experience; at least one year of DoD/NASA Asset/Property experience needed.• Knowledge of AFRL and DoD logistics management policies and regulations.• Must have and maintain a DOD Security clearance to perform job and/or access areas where Assets/Property are stored.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills• Experience working within DoD contract environment. AFRL experience highly preferred.• National Property Management Association (NPMA) accreditation/certification, i.e., CPPS/CPPA.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $58300.000 - $99100.000Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
