You will be working alongside some of the brightest people in the industry to build the next generation of well-designed, robust, and scalable systems. Our team has a strong engineering culture and believes in delivering beautiful and functional experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a fast-paced, engineering-first organization. Our current tech stack is React.js, Next.js, Go, Postgres, Kafka, Vercel, and AWS.A fintech background is not required, just a passion for revolutionizing the way investors access the capital markets today. While interest in finance is always appreciated, we will teach you the finance domain knowledge you need during your onboarding. Together, we will redefine and transform the finance industry.What you’ll do:• Help guide long term technical direction and vision for maintaining and scaling our web products• Build functional UI elements from design mocks, with an emphasis on performance, reliability and accessibility• Work with Product, Design and Engineering to implement a functional, user-friendly and delightful experience• Build a unified styles library for use across all products• Enthusiastically collaborate with a small team, owning and planning projects for long-term impact• Help define and evolve our tech stack as we scale the product• Help us hire a world-class team and mentor new team membersPreferred Qualifications• 5 to 8+ years experience of professional Front End or Full Stack engineering• Exceptional judgment, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security and usability.• Experience architecting and building 0-1 services in a large-scale production setting• Rigor and empathy that help you thrive in a collaborative and high-performance environment• Open communication skills — ask questions, assume good intentions, and default to transparency• B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experienceCompensation & BenefitsFor this role, the salary range is $160,000 to $200,000.
