Senior Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist (Remote - OR, WA, ID & CA)

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

· Prepare loan documentation for all commercial loan types including but not limited to commercial real estate, UCC secured, lines of credit, letters of credit, aircraft, preferred mortgages, SWAP, SBA (7a), SBA Express & SBA 504’s for new loans, renewals, extensions, and modifications. Ensure loan documents are prepared in accordance with the terms and conditions per the credit approval and in compliance with regulatory requirements as related to local, state and federal guidelines.

· Responsible for ensuring work is completed on time and accurately by planning, coordinating and monitoring daily activities through the Loan Origination System and the Doc Prep pipeline in SharePoint. Acts as an escalation point for team members to resolve documentation related issue.

· Responsible for assisting in the development of procedures and process guides. Also responsible to assist with projects and testing as needed.

· Responsible for communicating with underwriters, loan officers, loan specialists, middle office reviewers, and branch staff for any additional information needed to prepare loan documents.

· Responsible for training team members on aspects of loan documentation including the use of software and/or templates utilized for departmental loan documentation requests.

· Responsible for participating in required training on pertinent compliance laws and regulations as required by Banner Bank.

Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations.


Education & Certifications
  • H.S. Diploma: required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) 


Experience
  • 4 or more years of experience with loan documents, preferably including complex documents required 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of all aspects of commercial non-complex and complex loans, departmental functions, Laser Pro, Loan Origination System, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
  • Possess understanding of loan documentation structure requirements with ability to review credit approvals, organizational documents among other due diligence related documents to ensure adherence with bank’s lending policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to write clearly and informatively, editing for spelling, grammar and accuracy.
  • Proven detail orientated with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to efficiently organize heavy workloads in a deadline-driven environment with frequent changes in priorities and an emphasis on customer service and teamwork.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 


Compensation & Benefits
  • Targeted starting salary range (based on location and experience): $25.00- $40.00
