When it comes to caring for people, we’re all in.Description:Responsible for coordinating, planning and maintaining special community program calendar including support groups for cancer patients and caregivers and MCI outreach to Schools, Churches, Synagogues, Jewish Community Centers and YMCAs. This includes securing speakers and program presenters, arranging all details for each program or event including program promotion, room reservations, media, handouts, collaterals, giveaways, food and water where appropriate. Prepares program evaluations and follows up accordingly. Tracks attendance at events and prepares reports including return on investments, strategic initiatives and volunteer tracking. Serves as Miami Cancer Institute Representative at functions throughout the region as needed. Prepares and arranges table displays and giveaways for attendees. Coordinates and organizes large events and assists in planning and execution of National Cancer Organization Races, Walks, Dinners, Golf Tournament and Sporting events for Miami Cancer Institute. In addition, provides speakers, collaterals and giveaways for events to promote Miami Cancer Institute. Arranges volunteers for events and Saturday or evening programs.Estimated pay range for this position is $18.05 - $21.84 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications:Degrees:• High School Diploma, Certification of Completion, GED, Training, Experience.Additional Qualifications:• Prefer healthcare background and fluency in Spanish.• Experience in event planning, coordination, attention to detail.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.• Great organizational and planning ability.• Proficiency with advance Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.• Travel to Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and Palm Beach Counties required.• Evenings and weekends required.Minimum Required Experience: 3 YearsEOE, including disability/vets
