As a In Room Dinning Server at El Encanto, A Belmond Hotel, you are part of a team that shapes the culinary experience of our guests. In this role, you will master the art of delivering exceptional service and gastronomic and beverage experience. If you’re looking to develop your skills and be part of the future of luxury, this is your moment.

Primary Responsibilities Include 

·         Prepare Guest Orders after the food has been cooked, in room dining servers are responsible for preparing the order and placing it on the food cart in a way that is appealing and secure for delivery.

·         Deliver Guest Orders to the guests in room ensuring all items guest has ordered along with proper silverware and condiments.

·         Collect and Clean Dirty Dishes once the guests are done eating, guests leave their dirty dishes in the hallway or in their room, and in room dining servers are responsible for collecting and cleaning those dishes. They may also need to bring additional dishes to the guest, as requested.

·         Take Guest Order over the phone. Accurately write down the request and deliver it to the guests according to hotel and Forbes Five-Star standards.

·         Complete Payment for Orders.

·         After the food is delivered, in room dining servers are responsible for completing the payment process for the order. This typically includes delivering a check and asking the hotel guest how they would like to pay for the order.

·         Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.

·         Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.

·         Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.

·         Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.

·         Responsible for maintaining cleanliness at work and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper areas.
