This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Windows ecosystem by designing immersive experiences for Extended Reality (XR), including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to life, contributing to key projects that integrate Windows into the Mixed Reality space. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a field where only a few companies are leading the way.Responsibilities:• Collaborate on XR Product Vision: Work with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver the product vision for XR (AR, VR, MR) experiences within the Windows ecosystem.• Design Immersive User Interfaces: Create intuitive and immersive user interfaces and interactions tailored for AR, VR, and MR environments.• Create and Communicate Design Concepts: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and detailed visual designs that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.• Work with Developers: Partner with developers to ensure the design vision is executed faithfully and efficiently.• Develop Design Systems: Contribute to the development of design systems and best practices that ensure scalability and consistency across XR products.• Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings, alignments, and work sessions, contributing to the team’s overall goals and projects related to bringing Windows into Mixed Reality.Qualifications:• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in product design, specifically within XR (AR, VR, MR) or related fields.• At least 2+ years of experience using Figma for design work.• At least 2+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop and Illustrator.• A strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing immersive experiences for XR platforms is mandatory.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience with Unity or other game engines, including C#, is highly desirable but not required.• Familiarity with prototyping tools such as ShapesXR, Bezi, or like rapidly visualize and iterate on spatial experiences.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong communication skills to articulate design decisions effectively.Salary RangePay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $95,000 to $110,000 USD/annually.
