The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the team in Hazelwood, MO.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (labor, material, Other Direct Costs (ODC)) and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment may support multiple Air Dominance division teams (primarily F-15 related) and a variety of internal and external customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program
Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices
Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Develops estimating and pricing methods
Evaluates and develops business cases
Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc)
Develops and maintains pricing models
Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements
Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals
Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
3+ years of experience in a business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics or business) or a discipline that fosters problem solving, structured thought and creativity
Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work products at the same time

Summary pay range: $84,150 – $113,850
