Boeing Global Services is seeking multiple KC-46 or similar platform KC-46 Product Repair/Mod Tech in direct support of KC-46A Pegasus Integrated Sustainment Program within Boeing Global Services at McGuire AFB, NJ.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Oversees training.
  • Works under general direction.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices
  • Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience do you have in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working from heights & using fall protection equipment with weight limitations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with repairing and troubleshooting aircraft structural/composite, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, environmental, and avionics systems
  • Experience do you have in avionics troubleshooting

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
