Find your future with us.Research, Development & Innovation (RDI), a division of Indirect Supply Chain, is seeking a Lead Procurement Agent to join our team located in Huntington Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC; Tukwila, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; or Mesa, AZ.You will play a crucial role in supporting the Sustainable Flight Demonstrator (SFD), X-66 Program. You will be responsible to support all aspects of the procurement process from beginning to end, ensure compliance with government regulations, and secure the best value for The Boeing Company.This is an exciting opportunity to support state of the art procurements for our Sustainable Flight Demonstrator (SFD) X-66 program. An opportunity to coordinate with Integrated Product Team(s) engineers developing procurement strategies for large dollar value complex contracts. Working contract administration throughout the life of the program and supporting a very unique program within Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T).Position Responsibilities:• Execute Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) or Memorandum of Agreements (MOA) and collaboration agreements• Analyze pricing proposals and cost estimates to determine fairness, reasonableness, and cost-effectiveness• Negotiate contract pricing and terms and conditions to achieve cost savings and maximize value• Draft, review, and administer purchase orders in accordance with government regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)) and Boeing organizational policies in SAP S/4 HANA• Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier performance, contract terms, and delivery schedules• Participate in supply chain process improvement teams and identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies• Develop and execute company strategic business goals and objectives• Consult on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies• Embrace a lean mindset and identify efficiencies that can be implementedThis position is hybrid. This means the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.• 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• 5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management• 5+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance• 5+ years of experience in proposal development• 3+ years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) thresholdPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience• Experience using eParts requirement system• Experience using Systems Applications and Processing (SAP), S/4 HANA• Experience working with EPIC (Electronic Procurement Information Center) or similar software• Bachelor’s degree or higher• 3+ years of experience with proposal management or contract exposure with the US Department of Defense (DOD)Typical Education/Experience:Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
