Here, you'll be supported in progressing - whatever your ambitions.About the Role:As an integral member of the America's Sourcing Team, the Sr. Indirect Sourcing Specialist will drive end-to-end sourcing events for capital equipment and other key categories as needed. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to align with business goals and drive cost savings, while ensuring exceptional customer service across the organization.Your responsibilities will include:• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targets• Analyzing spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate price and obtain the best value for customers• Executing end-to-end sourcing events to align with stakeholder goals; develop and review sourcing event documentation and analyze requests for proposals or quotes• Analyzing supplier financials and capabilities to drive supplier selection and negotiate favorable payment terms• Partnering with BSC's legal team to negotiate, develop and manage supplier contracts; review and approve terms to ensure alignment with stakeholder goals• Managing supplier relationships to resolve inquiries and disputes for internal customers• Educating internal stakeholders on BSC's sourcing and financial policiesRequired qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of strategic sourcing experience• Experience with end-to-end sourcing process, negotiations and contract management• Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint• Working knowledge of ERP systems (i.e. SAP and Ariba)Preferred qualifications:• Knowledge of medical device or similarly regulated industry• Results-driven with effective negotiation skills and ability to meet target goals and objectives• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills• Experience managing change, conflict and ambiguous situations• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels (written and verbal)• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; analytical decision-makingRequisition ID: 593760As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most - united by a deep caring for human life.
