Join our dynamic team as a PreK-6th grade Special Education Teacher, where you’ll play a vital role in an inclusion classroom, working 35 hours a week. We’re looking for someone who can deliver tailored instruction to students with a range of disabilities, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive. Your work will include developing and maintaining Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), implementing evidence-based strategies, and engaging with fellow educators to create a comprehensive educational experience. You’ll also conduct assessments to monitor student performance, adapting your teaching methods to foster academic and behavioral progress. A Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates should hold valid state certification in Special Education and possess experience working with developmental disabilities. Your expertise in behavioral therapy techniques, life skills instruction, and literacy education will be essential as you create and implement effective learning materials.
