Tax Internship: Jan - April 2026 (Mankato Office)

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tax Department in our Mankato, MN office. Our tax team proactively services individuals and businesses to help clients minimize taxes and maximize growth. With ongoing continuing education, you’ll stay current on tax legislation to identify strategic tax planning opportunities for clients. Internships are paid, full-time experiences which run January – April in our Eden Prairie, MN office. We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes.

As an Intern, you will perform a variety of tax research and individual and corporate tax return preparation. You will work with a variety of clients (within multiple industries) on their tax preparation and planning. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities

  • Individual returns

  • Opportunities to respond to a variety of inquiries from Federal and State taxing authorities

Qualifications and/or Experience

  • Accounting major working towards 150 credit hours
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
  • Completion of intermediate accounting course(s)
  • Completion of some Tax and/or Audit course(s) by time of internship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills
  • Strong desire to learn and develop professionally
  • Motivated to serve clients
  • Desire to be a team player
