About the Role:

As a Construction Project Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the successful execution of our construction projects. Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision:

    • Oversee and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

    • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project specifications and schedules.

  • Project Management:

    • Develop and execute detailed work plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.

    • Collaborate with field engineers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure project compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.

    • Proactively identify and resolve project risks and challenges, implementing effective solutions to maintain progress and quality.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Champion a strong safety culture on-site, enforcing strict adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.

    • Conduct regular safety inspections and training to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

    • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Communication and Reporting:

    • Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including daily activity logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

    • Effectively communicate project updates and challenges to management and clients.

    • Conduct project meetings to ensure alignment and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a proven track record of successful project execution.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in construction management, leading and supervising teams.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.

  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification is a plus.

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Strong understanding of construction equipment, safety protocols, and local union/prevailing wage rules.

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.

  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
