Never content to rest upon our successes, we will continue to evolve and retain a position of leadership in our industry.Our past success, our current business philosophies and our sound business planning, combine to position Boyd Gaming Corporation to maximize value for our shareholders, our team members and our communities.Job DescriptionThe Digital Media & Social Engagement Manager will be responsible for social media management, reputation management, influencer marketing and digital advertising for Boyd Gaming Corporation as well as its subsidiaries. This person will be the liaison between the corporate headquarters and the marketing team at each of its hotel, casino and restaurant properties. They will lead a team of social media specialists to create content, improve engagement, reduce response time for reviews, and collaborate with advertising partners. Boyd Gaming Corporation views each of its subsidiary properties as a customer, so this person must have excellent customer service skills to be a successful liaison for our properties. The position requires some night, weekend and holiday events that the team must attend.QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:• Collaborate with the Director of Digital Media & Social Engagement to establish KPIs, best practices, content calendars, and advertising campaigns.• Lead a team of social media specialists to assist in the planning of weekly content calendars, managing reputation management and advertising campaigns and manage their day-to-day performance of their responsibilities.• Measure and report performance of all digital media campaigns, advertising campaigns, and company reviews.• Partner with the property marketing teams to collaborate on content planning, advertising campaigns, influencer marketing and other related tasks.• Identify trends and insights to create actionable recommendations for properties.• Manage influencer marketing efforts with the Boyd properties and social media specialists.• Must be able to travel to assigned properties within their region on a pre-determined basis.• Must be able to meet business demands for social media / marketing purposes which maybe outside of normal business hours.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s in business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience.• Three (3) to four (4) years of experience with online marketing, including social media management, reputation management, online advertising and managing a team.• Casino/travel industry experience a plus• Must be detail-oriented, able to manage projects to completion and lead a team of social media specialists.• Must have excellent communication and writing skills.• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.• Experience with Sprout Social (or other related platform), Medallia, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads and Canva is preferred.• Customer service experience preferred.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Boyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
