Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to work directly with program leadership and NAVSEA Program Executive Offices, driving innovative solutions from research to operational capability.  The candidate will be working at the intersection of technology, strategy, and acquisition, helping the US Navy bring innovative capabilities to the fleet. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the transition of groundbreaking RDT&E projects, ensuring they successfully move into operational programs.
  • Develop and implement strategic transition plans, aligning with DoDI 5000 series and SECNAV policies to support mission success.
  • Create and refine acquisition documentation, including statements of work, procurement strategies, funding justifications, and contract terms.
  • Analyze and compile key program data, transforming insights into high-impact reports, briefs, memos, and correspondence.
  • Engage with industry and stakeholders, professionally representing the office in outreach efforts and key partnerships.
  • Elevate the team, providing mentorship, training, and quality reviews to ensure excellence in acquisition practices.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in business management or related field
  • 10 years of experience in supporting DoD acquisition
  • At least 2 recent years supporting DoD or component Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) 
  • Experience analyzing small RDT&E acquisition programs, tracking project status, and providing reporting documentation
  • Possess knowledge and/or familiarity with SBIR/STTR Policy Directives, the DoD and SECNAV 5000 acquisition series, ASN (RDA) SBIR/STTR policies, and Federal and DoD acquisition regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in one (1) or more of the following areas: system acquisition, acquisition documentation, and risk analysis and management.
  • Experience working across DoD components and with multiple acquisition office functions (contracting, financial, technical)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to a wide range of audiences through multiple media

Additional Information

A Secret Clearance is required.

This is a contingent hire position.
