Variable shifts/days/locations; including the potential for afternoon, holiday, and weekend shifts; traditionally off May-July - subject to change depending on department needs); start times are traditionally between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Salary:
$16.73 starting; $17.56 working
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties:
Under routine supervision, engage in a variety of housekeeping, custodial and maintenance projects in University buildings and on adjacent grounds.
Required Education:
High School Graduation or Equivalent
Discipline / Degree Area:
Required Specialized Training/Certifications:
Valid motor vehicle operator's license as required.
Required Minimum Work Experience:
Combination of two years of experience in custodial and/or building and grounds maintenance work in hotels/motels, apartments, or relevant business or institutional settings.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Physical capability to perform all the duties and responsibilities of the position.
Ability to pass relevant oral, written, and/or performance testing.
Ability to maintain currency of technology and tools.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

Experience in the building trades, grounds maintenance, and/or landscaping.
