Provides data management, data analysis, reporting, and visualizations primarily supporting HR and Finance. Assists and supports other team members as needed with the development and maintenance of various web applications, data repositories, and related tools. Collaborates with cross-functional teams across Clemson, streamlining data gathering, interpretation, augmentation, and presentation activities. Other duties and projects as assigned.
40% - Essential - Data Systems and Analytics: Develops, administers, and manages data decision tools and web applications used in HR and Finance. Performs analytical and reporting responsibilities. Builds and maintains visualization reports, dashboards, and complex Excel models. Performs ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform decision making.
20% - Essential - Project Management and Communications: Coordinates and engages with other teams to deliver, track progress, and measure impact of work performed. Proactively builds alliances with stakeholders to support user adoption and understanding of work outputs. Facilitates training, workshops, and other engagement activities.
20% - Essential - Technical Expertise: Maintains knowledge of various HR and Finance systems and business processes, including hardware, software and custom web applications. Provides end user support, documentation, and training for those systems. Researches IT and business process solutions and makes recommendations to improve efficiency.
20% - Essential - System Administration: Develops and supports various web, data management, and visualization applications used in HR and Finance. Provides coding, administration and content updates as needed to support the HR and Finance teams. Supports data quality maintenance in all HRIS systems as directed. Develops and maintains reports using SQL and other applicable reporting languages.
Education - A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
