Business Intelligence Developer

Sentinel is working with one of it’s world class clients in seeking a Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, you will work among a collaborative team and support data driven decision making across the entire business. You’ll primarily leverage Power BI, SQL, SSIS and Crystal reporting technologies in your day-to-day tasks. We’re looking for someone who will be a champion for BI technology, data quality, integrity and reliability. This is a direct hire hybrid position requiring you be available to be onsite in Chicago 2-3 days a week.

• Proficiency in Power BI development and administration
• Strong working knowledge and experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL, Power BI Gateway and administrative tasks.
• Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Comprehension of business needs in order to develop data models
• Possible travel not to exceed 10%
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
