Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities to drive pipeline growth (both cold-calls and email prospecting)
- Conduct high-level conversations with school administrators in target markets
- Schedule online product demonstrations for Account Executives
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified meetings (SQLs)
- Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of BoostMySchool’s products, industry trends, and competition
- Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using our CRM
- Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
- Work internally with sales management and marketing to ensure proper quality, quantity, and success metrics are achieved
- Opportunity to be promoted into an Account Executive as the company grows and you exhibit the competencies needed to succeed in that role

- 1+ years of experience in business development: lead generation, sales, and/or marketing with success in a results-driven environment. Ideally at a B2B SaaS company
- You have a skill/knack for having meaningful conversations with strangers and the ability to gracefully continue a conversation through objections in your cold-calling experiences
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Bonus: You’re familiar with the school fundraising industry - e.g. you helped raise money for your school or you know what “advancement” means
