Senior Accountant

CMT is in search of a Finance Team Member who is collaborative, committed to excellence, and creatively driven to join our mission in enhancing road safety by improving driver behavior. Responsibilities: • Engage closely with internal stakeholders to identify and assess all revenue-impacting activities, ensuring their proper evaluation for revenue recognition and efficient recording • Oversee the maintenance of the billing system, including setup for new customers and contracts • Ensure the generation of monthly invoices aligns with company practices and standards • Actively follow up with customers to secure timely payments • Record and verify customer payments and transactions, maintaining accurate financial records • Execute the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations • Utilize independent judgment and discretion in managing daily accounting operations to maintain accuracy and timeliness • Assist in the development, documentation, and enforcement of internal controls • Complete any additional tasks as they arise Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience and/or certifications will also be considered • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience • Proficiency in revenue accounting is essential • Previous experience with NetSuite is highly desirable • A strong inclination for process improvement and a keen eye for detail Compensation and Benefits: • Fair and competitive salary based on skills and experience • Equity may be awarded in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, matching 401k, short-term & long-term disability and parental leave • Unlimited Paid Time Off including vacation, sick days & public holidays • Flexible scheduling and work from home policy depending on role and responsibilities Additional Perks: • Feel great working to improve road safety around the world! • Join one of our many employee resource groups including Black, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, Women, Book Club and Health & Wellness • Extensive wellness, education and employee assistance programs • CMT will do all that is possible to support our employees and create a positive and inclusive work environment for all!
