JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a leader who has hands-on experience developing and executing successful recruiting and engagement strategies for early career talent. The Campus Recruiting Manager should possess strong presentation skills and be able to partner with key stakeholders across the investment bank to enhance, scale, and execute the campus recruiting strategy, ensuring alignment with talent, diversity, and inclusion strategies. Ensure all actions reinforce William Blair’s compelling employment brand. Monitor pipeline to ensure consistent attraction of a broad and diverse candidate pool from various sources. Compile and monitor metric-driven data to stay on top of talent acquisition staff performance, sourcing statistics, and financial ROI on recruiting results. Manage, lead, and mentor recruiting staff.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Define and oversee, alongside the recruiting team, the execution and strategy of the full life cycle of recruiting and talent pipelining for the investment bank’s campus recruiting needs.
  • Build relationships with campuses and student groups to develop, manage, and monitor campus outreach programs including post-internship awareness campaigns and touchpoints with relevant campuses to elevate recognition and influence with potential candidates
  • Continuously evolve the department’s Early Identification Programs to ensure continued attraction and sourcing of top talent to meet the future talent needs of the department
  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for all aspects of the campus recruiting process for the investment banking department.
  • Structure and oversee all aspects of the summer internship experience (e.g., co-managing the placement process for specific offices, performance management process, intern engagement activities, end of summer surveys, offer process etc.)
  • Monitor talent pipeline to ensure consistent attraction of a broad and diverse candidate pool from various sources. Work in partnership with the DEI Programs Lead to ensure alignment with talent, diversity, and inclusion strategies.
  • Partner with the Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) to stay on top of service expectations and keep them apprised of progress and timing of campus recruiting activities and proactively respond to special requests or issues.
  • Manage the ongoing development and performance of the dedicated campus recruiting team, gathering, and delivering feedback on their performance and effectiveness. Ensure there is a balanced distribution of coverage to execute across the campus recruiting initiatives for the department.
  • Develop and deliver strategic updates related to campus recruiting activities/initiatives to key stakeholders at various points throughout the year.
a. Compile and monitor metric-driven data to stay on top of talent acquisition staff performance, sourcing statistics, and financial ROI on recruiting results.
  • Maintain external relationships with Diverse Professional Organizations (DPOs) and with counterparts at other organizations to stay abreast of industry trends, new sourcing sources, and industry best practices.
a. Review and identify new DPOs and technologies that can augment the campus recruiting strategy and procedures.
  • Manage, lead, and mentor talent acquisition staff. Coordinate and delegate workloads. Determine staffing needs of talent acquisition team and administer human resources policies, including hiring, compensation, performance reviews, and training. Serve as a resource or escalation point for questions or issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience required, preferable within a professional services/ financial services environment
  • 2+ years of management experience preferred
  • Works effectively under limited supervision
  • Results-oriented individual who thrives on challenge, growth and change in a highly entrepreneurial environment
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity; proven team player
  • Effective management and team building skills
  • Ability to deliver clear, effective written and verbal communication
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and handle many responsibilities simultaneously
  • Committed to satisfying internal and external customers
  • Detail-oriented to ensure that high standards are met or exceeded
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of managers and employees
