Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Sr. Manager of Warehouse Operations to lead and optimize our expanding warehouse network. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in driving long-term growth and operational excellence. The Sr. Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing robust strategies, ensuring seamless and efficient warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
· Formulating and executing strategies for sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
· Overseeing and enhancing warehouse operations through effective organization, supervision, and participation.
· Establishing, enforcing, and continuously improving policies, processes, and procedures.
· Evaluating, training, and managing staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
· Meeting all production and shipping requirements with precision and timeliness.
This role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in warehouse management and operations. You must be prepared for significant travel, up to 50-75% nationwide, with frequent visits to key locations including Austin, Texas, Albany, NY, and Orlando, FL. What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
· Drive Operational Safety and Efficiency: Evaluate and optimize processes, procedures, and systems.
· Forecasting and Demand Planning: Ensure accurate material transfers and timely order fulfillment.
· Staff Coordination: Manage staffing levels, including overtime, to meet production needs.
· Inventory Management: Conduct inventory audits, analyze data, and maintain records.
· Process Documentation: Create, modify, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
· KPI Management: Review, Create, Track and analyze key warehouse performance indicators.
· Facility Maintenance: Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and maintain equipment.
· Staff Training and Evaluation: Train, guide, and assess new and current warehouse staff.
· Strategic Projects: Scope and manage projects to support growth objectives in collaboration with executive leadership.
· Data-Driven Decision Making: Identify and analyze data to monitor project performance.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with business leaders to achieve value creation initiatives.
· Executive Reporting: Develop materials for senior leadership to facilitate decision-making.
· Other Duties: Perform additional related duties as assigned.
· Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize logistics and distribution.
· Budget Management: Oversee and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
· Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to warehouse operations, including safety and compliance issues.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Physical and Travel Requirements
· This role requires up to 50-75% travel requirements. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives. Change the percent of travel as needed.

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
· 2+ years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare technology, or relevant pharmaceutical/research experience.
· 5+ years of experience in Operations, Warehouse Management, Distribution
· 10+ years’ experience managing direct reports, recruiting, hiring, training, and providing crucial course correction and feedback to create a high-performance team.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience
