MediShout is a fast-growing, international startup that digitises operational pathways in healthcare so staff can deliver best patient care. Our App is the first in healthcare for staff to report and resolve any operational issue that delays them (e.g. faulty IT, broken equipment, missing stock, estates issues), leading to staff time saved, reduction in cancelled operations and better patient care. Our main customers are healthcare suppliers; medical device companies with billions in revenue and global facilities management companies. MediShout is entering an exciting growth phase and seeking a Head of Clinical Implementation to drive our value creation and commercial growth, by leading the delivery of new projects and pilots when we onboard new hospitals and healthcare suppliers. Your success will see our platform continue to expand in the UK and internationally, and this hands-on job will require weekly travel to hospital sites domestically and abroad as we scale.

Your Responsibilities
1, Problem Mapping
(a) Meetings: lead meetings with hospital and supplier stakeholders to understand their challenges, pain points and business needs.
(b) Workshops: deep dive into customers’ current workflows to identify bottlenecks and pain-points. Seek opportunities for where MediShout can lead to improvement. Create stakeholder maps.
(c) Pitching: whilst engaging our customers, be able to continually pitch our solution in order to win their hearts and minds, through ad hoc pitches or planned presentations.
(d) Relationships: build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers; including hospital staff, supplier territory managers, national managers or C-suites.
2, Solution Creation
(a) Solution Mapping: take the knowledge you learn about customers, liaise with our Product Team and create a visual map of of how our technology can improve existing workflow
(b) Solution Design: collaborate with the Product Team to decide how our product can be customised to address the customers’ challenges, and ensure wins for all stakeholders in the value chain
(c) Solution Presentation: create presentations, app demos, wireframes, technical schematics or marketing materials that summarise our proposed solution to customers to get their approval
(d) Stakeholder Management: ensure stakeholders are satisfied with the product and plans for data collection. Answer technical or commercial queries from customers that arise.
3, Technology Implementation
(a) Deployment: lead the deployment of MediShout’s technology in hospitals, ensuring smooth adoption and a positive customer experience. Ensure all end-users are appropriately trained.
(b) Project Management: ensure timely delivery of implementations with appropriate project documentation. Liaise with colleagues to ensure we comply with contractual obligations.
(c) Stakeholder Management: navigate the organisational hierarchy of the customer to identify the right people to achieve implementation goals. Critically, must get into diaries of key stakeholders.
(d) Influence: build excellent client relationships and influence stakeholders from all levels including C-Suite, senior clinical staff and key decision makers.
(e) Presentations: continually create high quality proposals and deliver excellent product demonstrations as projects evolve or new stakeholders appear
(f) Expectation Management: be wary of scope creep within projects and respectfully push back on unrealistic expectations
4, Evaluation & Scaling
(a) Data Collection: collect appropriate data before and after the solution is implemented
(b) Data Analysis: evaluate the return-on-investment for client implementations, producing reports and publishing data in peer-reviewed journals to evidence the success of pilots
(c) Scale: ensure pilots are so successful that customers want to rapidly scale our technology to more sites nationally, and internationally
(d) Business Plan: convert the project and pilot data into a Business Plan which outlines to our customer why they should scale up our platform
(e) Close Deals: work with the BD team to present the Business Plan to customers to agree scale-up contracts. Address any concerns or objections, and help negotiate features, price points, timescales.
5, Company Strategy
(a) New Opportunities: support the company’s commercial growth by identifying new business opportunities, partnership opportunities or grant applications
(b) Pipeline Building: support Business Development team with pipeline building, as a natural by-product of your job. Your network will grow from meeting new clients, attending conferences, developing partnerships etc.
(c) Connector: internally support projects by acting as a conduit between the Business Development team and the Product Team to ensure smooth transition of projects through the company
• Digital Experience: minimum 2 years experience in digital transformation, leading on digital solution implementation, and supporting growth in start-ups or technology companies
• Healthcare Experience: minimum 2 years experience working as a clinician or healthcare professional, with a deep understanding of the healthcare and medical device industries
• Publications: evidence of writing up reports, academic research and scientific papers, which have been published online or in peer-reviewed journals
• Product Knowledge: ability to rapidly obtain deep knowledge of our products so you can pitch solutions to clients, and communicate seamlessly with our internal product managers and developers
• Industry Knowledge: understand how hospitals and suppliers work individually and together. Deep understanding of the digital health industry plus experience working within it
• Communication: excellent communication skills to articulate the value of our platform, influence decision-makers, and get rapid adoption of our platform through user behavioural change
• Presenting: excellent at making slide decks and delivering customer presentations to all levels including C-suite. Can communicate technical or industry-specific information without jargon
• Teamwork: collaborative mindset; can work with CEO and sales team to hit company and personal targets
• Travel: be willing and able to travel weekly to client sites nationally, for in-person meetings, to drive the tide in MediShout’s favour across the UK; and then abroad.

Salary, Benefits and Specifics
• Salary £75,000-£85,000, plus bonus and salary review at intervals
• Employee share options (EMI scheme), which vest at intervals
• 25 days annual leave
• Flexible hybrid working (minimum one office day per week), multiple client visits each week
• Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm), work laptop, travel reimbursement
• 6-month probation period
